ace_logoAce Endico, one of the fastest-growing independent food distributors in the Northeast hired the Industrial Athlete University multimedia team to conduct a needs assessment, script and produce a human resources screening and selection tool called a Realistic Job Preview (RJP) video for their night order selectors.

Appert's LogoAppert’s Foodservice, one of the largest employee-owned and operated companies located outside of Minneapolis, Minn. hired IAU to produce several interactive DVD training programs, including three realistic job preview (RJP) videos for their food processing, order selectors, delivery drivers and sales associates.  IAU also produced a video program on food safety compliance and FDA recall procedures.

FoodPRO LogoFoodPRO, a single warehouse operation serving the Mid-Atlantic and greater Washington, D.C. area worked with IAU on the scripting, production and use of job training and on-boarding videos as an integral part of their recruiting and employee screening process. Heavy emphasis was placed on safety and employee benefits for FoodPRO’s associates.

Performance FPerformance FS Logooodservice, the third largest broadline distributor of food and food-related products to the restaurant and hospitality industry hired IAU for a multi-year project focused on skills training for employees from warehouse managers and routers to order selectors and delivery drivers.  PFS utilizes a highly-customized version of the IAU training framework for selector and driver training.

Roma LogoRoma Foods, a sister company of Performance Foodservice, worked with the IAU team on the customization of order selector and delivery driver training content.  Roma also uses the IAU realistic job preview videos produced for PFS for delivery drivers and order selectors.

The U.S. DoS LogoDepartment of State, the government department dedicated to ‘advancing the cause of freedom for the benefit of the American people’ hired IAU to design, develop and deliver the “Warehousing Management Training Program”, a primer on warehouse management practices, to general and foreign service officers who lead department posts overseas. As a part of this program IAU authored “The Warehousing Field Manual”, an entertaining and informative guide with warehouse management tips of the trade.

US Foodservice LogoU.S. Foodservice, the second largest food distributor in the United States, hired the IAU team to design and develop custom training programs for the company’s night warehouse selectors and delivery drivers across 88 distribution centers around the country.  Additionally, IAU assisted U.S. Foods on the preliminary design of their workplace harassment training program and produced two realistic job preview videos.
